Attention all Students:
As the summer approaches, there are two ways to recovery credit needed for graduation requirements that not have been successfully passed.
SVVSD Summer School:
Registration for summer is open now. Classes will be held at Longmont High School Forms can picked up in the School Counseling office or you can click here: http://svvsd.org/secondary-
The Semester One session is June 5 - June 22. The Semester Two session is June 26 - July 20. Cost is $150 per semester. Paper forms must be turned in to the School Counseling office by May 24th. Online registration ends May 31st. One final registration night will be held on Thursday, June 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Longmont High School.
SVVSD Ecredit Program:
The second way to make up credit is via the SVVSD Ecredit program. We are excited to let our parents and students know that FHS will be the site for one of the two SVVSD ecredit programs this summer. Registration for Ecredit does not begin until May 8th. Classes that will be offered are English, Social Studies, and Math up through Algebra 2. Classes will be held on Tues/Wed/Thurs mornings from 8:30 to 11:30 June 6th-29th. For our Ecedit program, there will only be 30 spots available. Spaces will fill up fast. Reminder: Summer school registration is open now and Ecredit registration does not open until May 6th.
Attention all Seniors and Parents:
The Weld County Bright Futures grant has finally updated their application process and will be visiting FHS on Friday, April 28th to make a presentation to all Seniors . Parents are welcome to attend as well. This presentation will happen at 9:00 am and be located in our auditorium. Please remember this is a $3000 annual scholarship for students who live in Weld County and graduate from a Weld County high school. Please contact your counselor for more information.
