Great national scholarship opportunities with short (usually 250 words maximum) essays for students over 13 years old.

Cielo Scholarship Fund

This scholarship will cover up to $8,000 for students in pursuit of furthering their education at accredited trade, technical schools and colleges in the greater Denver and Boulder area.

The American College Foundation is a resource for parents and students for college planning, scholarships and finanical aid.

Bueno CAMP

The College Assistance Migrant Program, CAMP, is a scholarship program that recruits students with migrant, agricultural backgrounds.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

Scholarship for Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming residents who are undergraduate students enrolled at participating out-of-state postsecondary institution. Deadlines and award amounts may vary.

Daniels Scholarship Program

The Daniels Fund offers a four year scholarship to graduating seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, a commitment to serving their communities. In addition, applicants must demonstrate finanical need.

The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship.

United Power Scholarship

This year, United Power will award 16 scholarships for a total of $18,500 to students who are either served by the cooperative, or dependents of members. Scholarships are awarded based on overall academic performance taking into account grade point average, ACT and SAT scores, extra-curricular activities, and a brief essay.

Renewable Scholarship Opportunity. These scholarships are intended to assist in obtaining an undergraduate degree from a university or college, or training in other accredited schools of higher education within the State of Colorado. The purpose of the Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program is to help the recipient achieve their post secondary education and career goals. The committee will be extending three $1,000.00 scholarships and one $500.00 scholarship.

Town of Frederick 2018 Scholarship
The Town of Frederick has established a program that provides four-year scholarships for graduating
high school seniors who are Frederick residents. This scholarship grants each recipient $1,500 per year
for four years for post-secondary educational expenses, provided that the recipient is able to meet the ongoing
eligibility requirements.  Students must have 3.0 GPA.

City of Dacono Scholarship 2018

City of Dacono.pdfThe City of Dacono annually offers a college/vocational training scholarship program to a graduating Dacono high school student. Students can attend any high school, but must reside in the City of Dacono.  Historically, the scholarships have ranged from $500-$1,000 depending upon the number of qualifying applicants.
