Welcome Back Information for the 2019-2020 School Year
July 29, 2019, 3:48pm
Students and guardians,
We are ready to start another amazing school year at FHS. We are excited to see the continued growth in students that allows us to add new programs and hire more outstanding staff members. We hope the students are as excited as we are. We are going to continue to challenge and support each of our students to be prepared for whatever future opportunities they choose to take on.
As we get closer to our first days we thought we would share some important information. For more info go to our website: https://fhs.svvsd.org/ or call 303-833-3533.
Here is what will be going on the first few days of school.
August 1 - 13 Offices are open 8:00am - 3:30pm
August 13 First day of school for 9th grade only (Students only need their schedule. Lunch will be provided)
August 14 All students report. Students will start in their advisory rooms for school pictures (9th and 10th grade) and iPad setup (11th and 12th grade.) A-Day Schedule
August 15 All students report. Students will start in their advisory rooms for school pictures (11th and 12th grade) and iPad setup (9th and 10th grade.) B-Day Schedule
ADJUSTED 2019 - 2020 BELL SCHEDULE
All SVVSD High Schools will start at 7:45 am starting this year. Below is our new bell schedule. Also attached is a bell schedule with Late start times and Advisory schedule.
iPad Insurance: The window is open to get iPad Insurance. You can pay in the office or online at Rev.Trak.
Student Schedules: Student schedules are available in Infinite Campus. We are no longer making schedule changes unless it impacts graduation requirements or college and career planning.
Bus Schudules: Will be available in Infinite Campus starting on Aug. 2nd. Log in to see bus numbers, pickup times, and location.
19-20 School Calendar and Bell Schedule attached.
All Juniors and Seniors: You will not have access to a locker this year unless you specifically request one. We have found that most of the students in grades 11 and 12 don't use their lockers. Due to growing numbers and limited use by upperclassman, we have assigned lockers to 9 and 10 grades students only. We do have some lockers still available so if you would like a locker, please stop in the Administration Office and request one from Katie.
Students with lockers can see their locker number and combo by going into Infinite Campus under schedule by the Print tab select the next drop-down and select student schedule. Locker and combo is printed in the upper left hand corner under Frederick High School return address. 10th grade students that had lockers last year, will have the same locker and combo as last year.
