Dear 2022-2023 High School Families,

St. Vrain Valley Schools offers numerous opportunities for students to engage more deeply in their career interests and extended learning through industry certifications, career and technical education training, advanced technology courses, and more. 

We invite you to attend the open houses for the Career Elevation & Technology Center and Innovation Center to learn more about courses and other programs that are available to high school students across the district. Transportation is provided from your home high school during the year.

Open House: Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. 

Located on the Global Acceleration Campus, the Career Elevation and Technology Center is home to seven innovative and robust career and technical education programs that provide authentic and hands-on learning experiences in multiple career pathways that are high-wage, high-growth, high-demand, and have a post-secondary trajectory. Students can take courses in any of the following focus areas:

  • Advanced Manufacturing including Engineering & Machining
  • Agriscience
  • Automotive and Diesel Technologies
  • Health Sciences
  • Interactive Media
  • Pre-Law
  • Prostart and Culinary Arts
  • Welding & Fabrication

The Innovation Center provides rigorous extended learning and mentorship experiences that provide opportunity for industry certifications, concurrent enrollment at higher education institutions, internships, and hands-on work experience in both the classroom and through Project Teams. Students can take courses in any of the following focus areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Bioscience
  • Creative Computing & Design 
  • Cybersecurity 
  • Design
  • Entrepreneurship
