EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Leslie comes from a math science family but resisted liking math until Calculus 3. The complexity displayed the beauty and order of math. She earned her BS in Math from Colorado State University. Incidentally she did her student teaching on a US naval base in Rota Spain.

Leslie taught middle school for 16 years and moved to high school in 2022. She has enjoyed watching students grow into mature adults and share their ideas, passions, experiences with her in and out of the classroom.

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN

Leslie has lived in Boulder county for over 30 years. She met her husband, Scott, while teaching at Fort Lupton Middle School in the 90s. They have 4 adult children who are their most favorite people in the world!

She enjoys walking, hiking, singing, reading, cooking and eating.

Leslie was born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico and loves to talk about the Manhattan Project.
