EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Prior to wanting to teach I got a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Immediately after graduating, I realized I wanted to teach instead. I then earned an initial teaching license specialized in Social Studies, followed by a master's. I started my teaching career in Grand Junction at Mount Garfield Middle School, and am excited to be at Frederick now.

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN

When not teaching, I love coaching (previously I coached football, though I also coach tennis and track), hiking, fishing, reading, and biking. Being native to Colorado, I know how beautiful and lovely the outdoors can be in this great state, and therefore I will usually be there if not in an educational setting.
