Colton Laidig Tops Art Show
This year’s St. Vrain Valley District Art Show showcased roughly 10,000 art pieces. From those art pieces, 83 were chosen by a juried panel representing the Arts Longmont Art Gallery. Of those 83 pieces the jury, which was comprised of professional artists, gallery owners, university instructors, and creative business owners, chose the top three pieces from elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Frederick High School’s very own Colton Laidig earned first prize at the high school level, for his scratch art piece of a snow owl, giving him top honors at this years art show.
Congratulations Colton!
