I received my B.A. in English Literature and Journalism, and worked as a copywriter for nine years before going back to school to become a teacher. I have an M.S. in Digital Literacy, and taught my first seven years in San Diego before moving to Colorado in 2020. I'm a proud Golden Eagle and love being a part of the Frederick community! 

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN 

 I enjoy anything in the outdoors, where you will often find me camping, gardening, or kayaking with my husband (who is also a proud Golden Eagle!) and our 16-year-old cattledog, Bowie. I am originally from Buffalo, NY, so you can also catch me rooting for the Buffalo Bills, which looks a lot like screaming at my TV every Sunday during football season.
