EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

This is my 5th year of teaching, and my first full year at Frederick High School. Additionally this will be my 9th season of coaching Football, and 7th of Track & Field (Throwers). I taught 2 years of K-8 Physical Education, and 2 years of High School Physical Education prior. I have earned 2 college degrees with the plans of starting my Masters here very soon. I earned my first college degree from Western State Colorado University in Exercise Sport Science while simultaneously playing a college sport (Football) for all 5 years. While building my resume I started coaching both Football and Track & Field (Throwers). This is where I started down the path of my teaching career. During my time coaching, I started to also substitute. I found myself becoming more and more passionate for making a greater impact on student lives. That is when I decided to return to school and earn my second degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver in K-12 Physical Education, Teacher Education. I started working at FHS last semester, mid year, and I am extremely excited to continue my teaching career here as well. Go Golden Eagles!!

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN

I enjoy spending time with my family, my girlfriend Erin, my friends, and my dog Rocco. I really enjoy lifting weights, and it has been one of my favorite physical activities to do ever since I was a freshmen in high school.

I was born in Boulder Colorado, and I have lived here all my life. (I love this state!!)
