EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2015. Prior to coming to FHS I worked at two alternative schools working with at risk students and supporting them to graduate high school. My educational background is in science. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Cellular/Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I then went to graduate school for biology which is where I made the choice to become a teacher so I left and got a teaching license. After a few years I returned to graduate school and got a Masters in Science Education. I am currently working on a second masters in Medical Microbiology. Education and learning is one of those things that I will probably never stop doing, I love learning new things and increasing my understanding of the world around me.

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN

I love spending time with my family. My wife and I have one child, three dogs, a bird, and fish. We love to travel and see new things. When not traveling I am a huge nerd and read comics, watch anime, play video game and board games, paint mini figurines.
