EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

I grew up in the Chicago area and moved to Colorado as soon as I could. I moved here in 2013 for my first teaching position after I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in English Education and never looked back. Since then, I have completed my masters in Reading and Literacy from University of Northern Colorado and a second masters in Educational Leadership from CU Denver. I have been teaching at Frederick High School since 2020 and am so grateful to be here! Go Golden Eagles!

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN

I have two children, Ben and Evelyn. My family and I enjoy spending time in the mountains camping, hiking, and exploring. I also enjoy reading, cooking/baking, and watching movies in my free time.
