Bio
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government-focusing on international development. I continued my interest in developing sustainable communities by earning a Masters in Geography from the University of Colorado at Boulder. From there, I turned to education as a means of economic empowerment and earned certifications in Elementary Education as well as a Master of Science in Education from the State University of New York at Albany. All along the way I taught and performed theatre, from teaching as Assistant Director of Camp Shakespeare for 12 years to teaching performance as community development in Kenya to teaching and performing improvisational theatre across North America. OUT OF SCHOOL FUN I enjoy watching and performing in theatre, reading, horseback riding, and spending time outdoors with my children, husband, and dog Remy! I am passionate about theatre as a means of creating community. Through theatre, students learn to make bold choices, support others, listen with open minds, bring words to life, and be curious about the world around them.
