EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Kory D. Shick is a dedicated transition special education and Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, specializing in ACE programs. He skillfully integrates horticulture and 3D printing into his curriculum, emphasizing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to cater to diverse student needs. His leadership extends beyond the classroom, evident in his role as a keynote speaker at state ACE leadership conferences and active participation in professional development focused on 21st-century skills. Kory’s commitment ensures that his students are well-prepared for real-world challenges, fostering essential skills through innovative educational practices.

OUT OF SCHOOL FUN

I am an avid skier, am the current President-Elect for Alternative Cooperative Education CTE Programs for Colorado, and am involved at the national level on a committee that focuses on integrating student special populations into our CTE programs.
