 Biomedical Science Academy

A program for creating college and career opportunities for students in the rapidly expanding field of biomedical science.


Program Highlights:

  • Students currently receive 1 credit through CSU with the opportunity to obtain further credits throughout the program.
  • Students will be able to speak to different professionals about their careers to gain valuable insight into different fields.
  • Field trips to various colleges around the state as well as trips to hospitals will occur throughout the 4 year program.
  • Students are encouraged to apply for internships in their field of interest.
  • Students will have the opportunity to take classes at and utilize the new Innovation Center in Longmont.
  • Students will have the opportunity to present their Senior Cpastone in a community event through Ted-Ed.

Students explore the roles of biomedical professionals by engaging in real-world cases, working collaboratively to understand and design solutions to the most pressing health challenges of today and the future.
